Emirates Post applies its own restrictions covering dangerous goods, currency, medicines, narcotics and counterfeit goods. GenZone may refuse, isolate, return or report any prohibited item.

When can I start using the Dubai mail address?
As soon as we confirm your registration after checkout. There is no onboarding call, no waiting list and no setup period to sit through.
We send you the full Business Bay address, and you can put it on bank forms, contracts and government filings straight away.
What can I have sent to the GenZone address?
The service is built around correspondence addressed to you or your registered company. Your monthly subscription covers:
- Business letters, standard envelopes and everyday company correspondence
- Bank statements, notices and physical bank cards issued to your company
- Government notices and regulatory correspondence from UAE authorities
- Signed contracts, certificates and official documents
- Small document packets, approved by GenZone in advance
What counts as one of my five monthly items?
Each envelope or separately delivered item counts as one, however small it is. A single thin letter uses the same allowance as a full document packet, and each item can weigh up to 500 grams.
Splitting one shipment across several envelopes to stay under the package limit counts as a breach of the terms, as does using the address for inventory, customer returns or merchandise. Items beyond the fifth may still be accepted at our discretion, with an additional handling fee.
Do you open or scan my mail?
Your mail stays closed. We open and scan items only with your authorization, except where inspection is reasonably necessary for security, legal or compliance reasons.
What we do check is the outside. An item may be refused based on its appearance, packaging, sender, weight, dimensions or declared contents.
Can I have a package delivered, not just letters?
Only with written approval from GenZone before it ships. Approved small packages go up to 2 kg and 40 by 30 by 20 cm, sit outside the monthly subscription, and carry a handling fee on arrival.
Bulk deliveries, multiple cartons, pallets, furniture, equipment and unusually heavy items do not fit our Business Bay office and may be refused or returned to the sender.
What cannot be sent to the GenZone office?
These items are restricted under UAE law, courier regulations or both. Do not arrange delivery of any of the following:
- Cash, crypto devices and negotiable financial instruments
- Illegal or counterfeit goods, weapons, ammunition and explosives
- Drugs, controlled substances and unapproved medicines
- Alcohol, tobacco and vaping products
- Hazardous, flammable, toxic or chemical materials
- Perishable food, plants, animals and biological materials
- Precious metals, gemstones, jewelry and high value goods
- Pornographic material, passports and similar restricted documents
GenZone may refuse, isolate, return or report any suspicious, illegal, dangerous or prohibited item.
Can you forward my mail outside Dubai?
Yes. Forwarding sits outside the subscription, so courier and postage, customs duties and taxes, repackaging, insurance and handling are quoted and billed separately. Payment may be required before an item is released.
GenZone is not responsible for delays, loss, damage, seizure or customs action caused by postal operators, couriers, authorities, building management or other third parties.
What happens if I do not collect my mail?
Standard mail is stored free for 30 calendar days from the day we notify you. After that, storage fees may apply, and larger packages can be charged sooner, or immediately, because office space is limited.
Items left uncollected beyond 60 days may be returned, securely destroyed or otherwise disposed of, after reasonable notice to you.
Can I use this as my company's registered address?
This subscription is a mail management service covering receipt, logging, notification, storage and forwarding at our Business Bay office.
Whether an address can be used for licensing or registration depends on your license type and the relevant authority, so speak to the GenZone team before listing it on any application.
How do I cancel, and when can service be suspended?
The subscription is managed through Stripe and can be cancelled from your billing portal. Access continues until the end of the month you have already paid for, so collect or arrange forwarding for anything still held at the office before then.
Exceeding permitted usage, sending prohibited items, unauthorized use of the address or unpaid charges can lead to suspension or termination, with no refund required.
