GenZone Issues Public Warning After Scammers Impersonate Company in Fake Job Offers and Investment Scams

GenZone has issued a public warning after discovering that scammers are impersonating the company to promote fake work-from-home job offers and investment scams. The Dubai-based business advisory firm urges the public to verify all communications through official channels and reminds everyone that it never recruits paid online task workers, guarantees daily earnings, or asks members of the public to send money.

Dubai, UAE: GenZone has issued an official public warning after identifying that scammers have been using the company’s brand and name to promote fraudulent job offers and fake investment schemes.

In several recent instances, fraudsters have impersonated our brand under names like ‘GenZone Corporation’ and ‘GenZone Corp’, primarily targeting individuals through WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.

According to the company, the scammers falsely claim to represent GenZone and try to recruit victims into “online jobs” that promise daily cash earnings for completing simple tasks, or attempt to convince them to transfer money in exchange for guaranteed investment returns.

GenZone says these individuals and entities have no connection whatsoever to the company and are using its name and likeness without authorization.

“We want to be absolutely clear,” the company said, “GenZone is a business setup and advisory firm. We do not recruit online workers, we do not offer paid task programs, we do not guarantee returns, and we never ask members of the public to send money.”

How the Fake Job and Task Scam Works

The most common version of the scam reported in the Philippines begins with an unsolicited message offering easy, well-paid work from home. Posing as “GenZone Corporation,” the fraudsters claim the company helps online merchants recruit people to complete small tasks on their mobile phones.

A typical recruitment message reads something like this:

GenZone stresses that it does not run any online task program, gig platform, or commission-based earning scheme, and it never asks recruits or employees to pay money in order to work or to receive wages.

Scammers Also Promote Fake Investment Schemes

In other cases, the same impostors approach victims with fake investment opportunities, claiming to represent GenZone and promising guaranteed high returns. Victims are contacted through messaging apps, shown copied branding or website content, and encouraged to make payments to personal bank accounts under the promise of profit.

GenZone explained that these tactics mirror common impersonation scams seen around the world, where fraudsters exploit the reputation of established companies to gain trust before requesting payments. The company emphasized that simply displaying a legitimate logo or website does not prove that a person is genuinely affiliated with the business.

Warning Signs to Watch For

GenZone encourages the public to be alert to the following red flags, which are common across both the job and investment versions of the scam:

  • An unsolicited message offering easy work-from-home tasks with high daily earnings.
  • Promises of guaranteed income, fixed daily payouts, or “guaranteed returns.”
  • Any request to pay, deposit, or “top up” money in order to work, unlock tasks, or withdraw earnings.
  • Contact made only through WhatsApp, Telegram, or social media rather than official company channels.
  • Pressure to act quickly, or claims that a limited number of positions or slots remain.
  • Communications from personal accounts or free email addresses rather than official @genzone.com addresses.

GenZone Urges Public to Verify Official Communications

Headquartered in Dubai, GenZone LLC provides company formation and corporate advisory services for entrepreneurs establishing businesses in the UAE and the United States.

Its services include Dubai Free Zone and Mainland company setup, US LLC formation, banking assistance, residency support, and corporate compliance. The company stressed that its work is strictly focused on helping clients establish and manage businesses, not recruiting online workers, offering paid tasks, investing client funds, or running wealth-building programs.

Genuine correspondence comes only through official @genzone.com email addresses and verified contact details published on the company’s website. Any unsolicited job offer or investment opportunity claiming to be from GenZone should be treated as fraudulent.

What to Do If You’ve Been Targeted

The company encourages anyone who receives suspicious messages to avoid making payments, refrain from sharing personal or financial information, preserve screenshots and other evidence, and report the incident to the relevant authorities.

Individuals who have already transferred money are urged to contact their bank or payment provider immediately and report the matter to local cybercrime agencies as quickly as possible.

While impersonation scams continue to affect businesses across many industries, GenZone says transparency remains its priority. By publishing this public warning, the company hopes to protect potential victims and ensure that entrepreneurs clearly understand the nature of its services.

“Our reputation has been built on helping entrepreneurs establish legitimate businesses,” the GenZone management says. “If anyone contacts you claiming to represent GenZone with a job offer, an online earning task, guaranteed returns, or a request to send money, they are not associated with our company.”
