Step 1: Company First
“Establishing the company had to be my first step. It is the UAE entity that sponsors me, the individual, and it cannot be done the other way around. The person first and then the company.”

Step 2: E-Visa Application
“Once the company license was issued, the next step was applying for the e-visa. That’s the digital entry permit that allows you to legally enter the UAE whilst your residency process is underway.”
Step 3: Medical Requirements & Residency
“After that, I went through a medical exam, a quick blood test, and a chest X-ray, and then submitted everything for my residency visa to be stamped in my passport, all arranged and supported by GenZone.”
Step 4: Emirates ID
“Right now, I have the residency visa and I’m just waiting for my Emirates ID and that’s the final piece and that should arrive hopefully in the next day or two. Once that is ready, it unlocks everything else. I can open a personal and business bank account, get a proper phone plan, and basically live like a resident instead of a visitor.”
“I don’t live here full-time yet. This is still a visit whilst everything else gets finalized. My wife and I have been spending lots of time exploring the city, trying to figure out where we might want to move and where we might want to live full-time.”
