Liwaa Bou Ghader built his business on a simple idea: the discipline that gets you on a bodybuilding stage is the same discipline that gets you anywhere else you want to go. This year he pointed that discipline at Dubai, moving his online coaching business from the UK, and he recorded a short video to explain why the move mattered as much as it did, and why he trusted GenZone to handle it.
His reason for filming it was deliberate. “I’m just making this video to share my experience with GenZone,” he says. “I really recommend it to everyone searching for a trusted agency.” He wanted the next person weighing the same move to have somewhere solid to land.
From $800 a Month to a Life He Designed Himself
Liwaa didn’t start out with freedom. He started out working more than 50 hours a week for around $800 a month, up at 6 a.m. for the gym before a full shift, having already dropped out of school to become a personal trainer. It’s not the origin story most people expect from someone who now runs Alpha Coaching University, coaching other fitness coaches on how to scale their own businesses. But it’s the one he tells himself, because it’s the one that’s true.
He’s been open about the road that got him here. Long before the online coaching business, there was a stretch of feeling lost, underweight and without direction, the kind of low point he now credits with sharpening his resolve rather than defining him.
What followed was years of hands-on graft: 12 bodybuilding shows, competing not for the trophies but for what the process taught him about discipline, and years of personal-training clients booked hour by hour, trading time directly for money.
The shift came when a single client offered to pay him $200 a month to coach online instead. A small number on its own, but the first sign that his time and his income didn’t have to be the same thing. From there he changed coaches, invested in himself, learned sales, learned content, and kept going. What used to take hours in the gym, coaching one client at a time, he could now do from a laptop.
Today Liwaa runs a coaching business making $10,000 or more a month, working fewer hours than he did as an employed trainer. But the money was never the headline. “The biggest transformation wasn’t my body or my bank account,” he says. “It was who I became.”
Why Dubai, and Why the Setup Is the Hard Part
Here’s the thing about a business that already runs from a laptop: the business was never the obstacle to moving. The paperwork was.
Because Liwaa’s coaching operation was built online from the start, relocating didn’t mean rebuilding it around a new location. It just meant choosing where he wanted to live and work from, and Dubai was that choice. The appeal is straightforward for a founder in his position. Set up correctly in one of Dubai’s free zones, a qualifying company can be taxed at 0% on qualifying income under the UAE’s corporate tax rules.
The structure exists for exactly this profile of business, but “set up correctly” is doing a lot of work in that sentence. Getting the activity, the licensing and the qualifying criteria right is precisely where a founder trying to run a business at the same time can come unstuck.
That’s the gap GenZone filled.
“Peace of Mind”: The GenZone Experience
For Liwaa, the value wasn’t a list of forms. It was not having to hold that list in his head at all while he kept coaching clients and making content.
“To be honest, they made the process super easy and really quick,” he says. The relocation happened in the background; his attention stayed on the work that pays him.
That’s the specific relief he keeps coming back to. “It just gives you peace of mind to know that everything is taken care of,” he explains. For a founder whose income depends on showing up for clients every day, an admin process that quietly handles itself isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the whole point.
His closing line doubles as advice to anyone in his position: “If you work online and you just want to move somewhere, Dubai is the best place. Let’s go.”
The Verdict
Liwaa’s move shows what becomes possible when an online business is no longer tied to the place it started. The business travelled fine on its own. What he needed was for the setup around it to travel just as cleanly. GenZone handled that end to end, giving him the speed and the peace of mind to keep building the coaching business he’d spent years developing.
For online coaches, consultants, creators and other location-independent founders weighing the same move, the lesson is simple: the right setup is what turns “I could live anywhere” into actually going.
If that sounds like where you’re headed, you’re in good company. Fellow online coach Miguel Santos relocated his own business from Portugal, and GenZone offers a free, no-obligation consultation to talk through exactly what a move from the UK to Dubai would look like for your business.
